There is no shortage of life in Prague, the city is buzzing every night and day for that matter with all sorts of entertainment, every one and their grandmother is out to grab your buck.
From medieval torture chambers to flash and brash nightclubs. There's opera, theater, boat cruises, karaoke, bands and blands and if you look really hard you will probably find donkey rides and candy floss (for the Brits out there).
Sex is also big business, I will keep this clean as it's not rated but you can probably find whatever takes your fantasy, it's not quite Bankok but it is supposed to be quite liberal for Europe (not that I'd know anyway). I hate to say it but I was taken to a very good transvestite cabaret by my other half (GIRLFRIEND that is) and although I don't speak or for that matter even understand the language I was quite surprised (and worried) how realistic they all were and funny it all was.
Anyway on with the normal stuff; theater, opera and classical concerts are big here, there is always Mozart this and Vivaldi that (sorry I know no opera or theater names but I'm sure I will soon), as you walk the streets (not that I'm a street walker) you are constantly harassed by people handing out fliers (if you want to miss out on this wear a tie and carry a large envelope) advertising this concert and that show. I think if you had time to see them all you would be here all year. But you get the idea there is plenty to do and no time to do it all. but if nothing else go to a Pivnice and have Pilsner and beer cheese.
Bars & Clubs
Now this is the really interesting part of this page; Bar's, Pubs, Clubs etc are excellent firstly alcohol is

CHEAP !!!!!!

you can get absolutely legless for a fiver or for you Americans $10 (I no but it's my exchange rate). Beer costs about 50 pence a half litre if not less and a bottle of Czech shampers will set you back less than £3. I went to a club on New Years eve and I paid £2.50 for a bottle so I had to do the only respectable thing and go home.
There is not a great selection of beers in the pubs however most tend to have a wide selection of spirits, probably something t do with being tied to a particular brewery. Ther a two so far that stick out for me one is U Flecku and is very much on the tourist map, they brew their own beer which is very strong. You can sit in the courtyard and listen to traditional Czech bands, you don't have to ask for beer the waiters walk round with trays full and give it out like it's going out of fashion.
The other pub is a traditional Czech pivonice called U Rudolfa and is situated near Charles bridge, it is always full of Czech's (so it must be good) they serve Pilsner Urquell and you can pick you traditional pub meals ands snacks, I would suggest trying the beer cheese it might smell like cowsh_t and make you pass wind but it tastes good which is the main thing in a city that should be called the windy city.
