| As with all capital cities the Tour Guide industry
in Prague is extensive, ranging from chauffeur driven tours to lesiurly
stroles (the former being very expensive the latter very tiring).
As they say you pay your money you take your choice.
Obviously there are good and bad although to become a tour guide
you have to take official exams (well at least for Prague), so technically
the guides should all be of a proficient standard. Unfortunately
I am not the type of person who takes a guided tour, I find them
irritating and demanding and would rather go where I want and when
I want and not be tied to any particular itinary.
Although looking at how many operators there are in the city it
would appear that I'm in the minority, they all appear very busy
and as such one must also presume that they are good. As such though
I am unable to give an objective opinion or information about any
of the guides so I will just take this opertunity to list the one
I have come across with their relevant contact details in alphabetical
order (no bias here).
Update: OK so things change especially now I have a resident tour
guide on my staff
Otherwise here are some of the others: |
