Prague has more museums than you can shake a stick at, which considering the size of the country and it's level historical world importance seems quite surprising. But then you have to appreciate that Prague has been around for a lot of years and although it may not have grand traditions of Navel and Military history or exploration its has seen a lot more changes than most cities. In fact one could say that Prague has been at the center of European social, cultural, architectural and political changes since history began and has been very important in the less well defined areas that museums generally stick to.
Many of Prague's museums center around these changes and build upon its enlightened and more refined history, a history that is hard to describe in words as it has been so fluid that the city itself is a museum of European history and ideology. Prague's history dates back over 1000 years and that history has been preserved in many forms and preserved well so we may enjoy the splendors of our forefathers.

The museums that Prague has to offer may not be as grand or imposing as many in other countries, they may not contain the plundered treasures and victorious battle scars but I believe they offer something that many countries cannot, a feeling that this small nation probably boasts the contains one of the richest and most diverse cultural backgrounds. You could almost describe it as the European sponge (sorry, all this was bringing tears to my eyes).

Oh well on with the show, here are some museums why not Czech em out!!
